Nous voici arrivés au chapitre 26 du Duc d’Albe, et l’année 2025 marquera la 25ème édition de cette belle aventure (COVID oblige !).
Plus de 75 manches courues, incluant la célèbre Coupe des Îles d’Or, et plus de 8250 participants. Certains (rares !) ont pris part à toutes les éditions, d’autres à quelques-unes, voire à une seule… Mais tous ont terminé le Duc d’Albe avec ce sentiment unique de satisfaction et de souvenirs inoubliables.
25 éditions, c’est aussi plus de 5300 bénévoles qui ont contribué au succès de notre événement. Là encore, certains ont été de toutes les aventures, d’autres n’ont donné qu’un coup de main ponctuel, mais tous ont ressenti cette fierté et cette joie d’avoir participé à quelque chose d’exceptionnel.
25 ans, c’est une histoire, une tranche de vie, une épopée collective. Et comme toutes les belles choses… elle doit un jour se conclure.
C’est donc avec beaucoup d’émotion que nous vous annonçons que l’édition 2025 du Duc d’Albe sera la dernière. Le dernier chapitre de cette aventure humaine hors du commun.
Peut-être un autre évènement pourra-t-il prendre le relai …
En attendant, les inscriptions pour cette ultime édition sont désormais ouvertes ! Le nombre de bateaux est limité à 120, comme chaque année. Toute l’équipe organisatrice du CMH est déjà mobilisée pour faire de cette édition un moment inoubliable.

Here we are at Chapter 26 of the Duc d’Albe, and the year 2025 will mark the 25th edition of this great adventure (thanks to COVID!).
More than 75 races have been held, including the famous Coupe des Îles d’Or, with over 8,250 participants. Some (a rare few!) have taken part in every edition, others in a few, or even just one… But all have finished the Duc d’Albe with that unique feeling of satisfaction and unforgettable memories.
25 editions also means over 5,300 volunteers have contributed to the success of our event. Again, some have been part of every adventure, others have helped out occasionally, but all have felt the pride and joy of being part of something truly special.
25 years is a story, a chapter of life, a collective journey. And like all good things… it must one day come to an end.
So it is with great emotion that we announce the 2025 edition of the Duc d’Albe will be the last. The final chapter of this extraordinary human adventure.
Perhaps another event will one day take up the torch…
In the meantime, registrations for this final edition are now open! The number of boats is limited to 120, as every year. The entire CMH organizing team is already hard at work to make this edition a truly unforgettable moment.
